The Ray City Rollers formed in 2014 as the latest project of guitarist Ray Dafrico.  Ray, the founding member of the legendary band The Nightporters, is joined by fellow Nightporter Paul Lenz on drums, and

a founding member of drivin n cryin.  Rounding out their sound is bass player Rob Groover, formerly of Loudflower.

The Ray City Rollers sound is a culmination of Rock, 60s Soul, 70s Punk, Power Pop, Bubblegum Rock and Roll with a Bluesy Mod Psychedelic vibe.  Their original music has been described as something like Keith Richards singing The Kinks. Major musical influences include 60s/70s British bands, 60s soul and 70s punk and glam rock.

After a California Tour in March of 2014, they recorded their critically acclaimed first CD, "Babylon Blues".  Plans for their next CD is in the works.
